Care home residents will be allowed a second regular visitor indoors from 12th April. This can either be a separate visit for each ‘regular’ visitor or both ‘regular’ visitors at the same time. Babies and toddlers will also be able to accompany visitors, allowing residents to meet grandchildren.
Visitors will still be required to undertake a LFD ‘Quick Test’ on arrival at the home and only upon a negative test result will be allowed to visit their relative/friend.
All visitors will still be required to wear PPE (Masks, apron, gloves) during the visit to keep themselves, staff and residents safe.
