New Well-Being Co-Ordinator

New Well-Being Co-Ordinator

Our new Wellbeing Development Co-ordinator, Valerie Hammond will be joining the Bryden Team on Monday 28th March 2022.

“I am looking forward to supporting all of the residents and the families as well as working with my new colleagues.

My career has been varied, working in senior positions within retail and charities such as Acorns Children`s Hospice and National star. I have qualifications in life coaching, training, mental first aid and leadership management. I have completed training for safeguarding and health & safety and more recently for becoming a Wellbeing development coordinator. I love working with people and it is my passion to support a good quality of life for everyone where I can.

I am a mum of two boys who are now keeping me busy with two beautiful granddaughters, I also have an African grey parrot called Charlie and a husband who is mad about cars and football. I live local and enjoy going to the gym, doing Pilates and walking on a Sunday. You may notice me by my red hair and sometimes by my Derby accent that still comes through even after many years in Kidderminster.

I will be around mainly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but these days may change depending on the activities and events planned. Please come and say hello if I do not manage do get to you first.”
