Although the Government has lifted quite a number of restrictions for wearing of masks and testing for the general public, the restrictions for entering a Nursing Home remain the same as they were before the restrictions were lifted. This is to ensure that residents and staff in Care Homes are protected.
Our current visiting policy remains as follows:
We are currently accepting visitors and have procedures in place to minimise the risk of COVID-19 to our residents and staff.
A booking system is in place with allocated visiting time slots.
The timeslots are 9am, 10:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 5pm and 6:30pm.
To book a visiting slot, please call 01562 755888. Please feel free to book well in advance as slots do go quickly.
The visiting slots allow plenty of time for the LFD test to be done and also the 30 minute restriction on visiting our resident.
Please do not arrive early for your allocated time slot, unless you are happy to wait until your allocated time.
All visitors must undergo a LFD test on arrival at Bryden House, plus complete a test registration and track and trace form.
The LFD test normally reveals the result within about 10 to 15 minutes, in which time you are welcome to wait in the conservatory.
You will be required to wear PPE (face mask, apron and gloves) when entering the premises. We have supplies of PPE in the foyer for visitors to use.
If you are feeling unwell or have been told to isolate as you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please do not attend as you may be refused entry.
