As of 19 July 2021, the Government has announced England’s roadmap out of Covid restrictions.
Visiting indoors has moved to unlimited named visitors. Where possible we will chat with our residents to ask them who they would like as their main visitors. This will be documented in the careplan. Where a resident does not have the mental capacity to choose their named visitors, we will have a discussion with the next of kin or power of attorney to ensure the named visitors are recorded.
We will have more people visiting, which is good news, however we do need to take some precautions. Residents will have two nominated visitor a day. The visit will be limited to 30 minutes, Only 2 visitors per resident per day. This can be 2 visitors at the same time or you can visit separately.
The visitor will need to contact Bryden House to arrange the visit. Special circumstances allow for unlimited visit. Please contact Bryden House if you require further information. For indoor visit, visitor will need to conduct a lateral flow test. If negative, you will be allowed onto the premises. Please continue to wear facemasks and PPE whilst indoors.
We offer outdoor visits, for these visits testing and face coverings are not needed, however social distancing remains.
If a resident wants to visit outside of Bryden House premises, we will conduct a risk assessment to ensure it is safe to do so.
By following infection control protocol, PPE, facemasks, hand sanitising you are able to hold your relative/friends’ hand.
