As part of our ongoing commitment to quality control, we routinely send out discharge questionnaires to gather feedback from residents, whether their stay with us has been for two weeks or two years.
On July 27, 2024, Julia shared her thoughts, stating that although her mother’s stay with us was brief, she was very impressed with the care and dignity shown. She expressed her gratitude by saying, "Mum only had a short stay with you, but I was very impressed with the care and dignity you showed her, thank you so much." Julia also completed the discharge questionnaire, awarding us a score of 5 out of 5 in areas such as attitude, information provided, comfort, respect, dignity, choice and privacy.
We are pleased that we could assist Julia and her family during their time of need and are honoured by their positive feedback.

Dear Natalie and Alina and the rest of the wonderful team at Bryden House, Thank you so much for the care that you gave to my grandmother, Vivienne during her stay at Bryden House.
It was and remains a great comfort to my mother and I to know she was protected, loved and cared for during the final months of her life.

My sister has been a resident at Bryden House for nearly 18 months. During that time she has needed quite complex 24 hour care from the carers and nursing staff. Although I have not been able to visit Bryden myself, due to my own circumstances and living 250 miles away, I feel that I have gained a good insight into the care given there.
The staff which I regularly speak to have been generally very helpful and willing to answer any queries. I get the impression that although they are very busy, they all have a very caring and dedicated attitude toward the residents and are cheerful and helpful when I phone.
This is backed up with my own conversations with my sister. She says she is very grateful for the level of care given to her by everyone in the team of people looking after her. She tells me that they are helpful, friendly and mindful of her limited mobility. Although she is on a special diet, she has a choice of meals and desserts which she enjoys.
Overall, I feel that she is well looked after and safe at Bryden House and that I am kept informed.
Thank you so much for looking after Ann in the last few days of her life. If only she had allowed herself to come to you sooner. I know that she appreciated your kindness and love and felt happy with you looking after her, a real blessing. You were "Angels" in disguise.

Thank you for all that you and your staff did to make my Dad's stay with you as comfortable and caring as possible. The past six months had been especially hard for Bill, having only lost his wife in August last year. He had stoically cared for her in the best way that he could during her final years and when she passed away it was as if his reason for living had gone.
Your care for him, for me and for the other members of my family as well as his friends when they were able to visit was greatly appreciated.

Whilst at Bryden House I was looked after well. I enjoyed my food, it was home food, not too fancy. The staff were caring and professional and I was treated with respect at all times.

Thank you all for making my Christmas day such an enjoyable one. The table looked so festive and the candles burned brightly. Crackers were so large. The motto in myn said "What does a snow man eat?" "Iceberg of course!". Wine flowed freely, one glass, two glasses, maybe three!
Bed time came and with happy thoughts, eyes closed.

Hi Everyone. Just to say thank you for looking after Auntie for us in the difficult time.....We do our Thursday night at 8pm, but we do a few extra claps at the end just for you all.
My lovely little wife is one of your ladies staying in one of your rooms. I am going mad because I cant come to see her, but one day I will see her. Hope it is soon. Hope this small gift can help you. You are all very good to her.

Thank you for a very nice Xmas lunch with wine waiter service! All enjoyed in pleasant surroundings, watched by father Christmas. You must have put so much effort into the arrangements, very well timed as the meal was over in time for the Queen's speech. The crackers did have a distinct crack.

Our profound thanks to all at Bryden House, from Management to laundry staff at the wonderful care and thoughtfulness shown to mum. She could not have a better care.
The family would like to thank Natalie and the team for all the care, help and assistance given to our Dad during the last days of his illness. We couldn't have asked for a better team and we are very pleased with everything they did for us.
I am an agency nurse and worked at Bryden House around a year ago. When I recently returned I found a big difference since my last shift. Bryden House is amazing now. It is a pleasure to work in a nice and tidy place. Thank you to the owners, Manager and Deputy Manager for a wonderful workplace.

My stepfather was always well looked after although sometimes he was confused where he was. The carers and nursing staff used to have a laugh and a joke with him and if, for any reason, he had to go into hospital he was always happy to come back to Bryden House.
