We are extremely pleased to announce that on the 31st December 2020 ALL of our residents and staff received their first vaccination for COVID-19.
The 2nd injection ‘booster’ is due to be administered in around 10 to 12 weeks, as per government guidelines (as of 31/12/2020).
Even though everyone has now received their initial vaccine injection, we at Bryden House will continue with our esculated infection control procedures to further protect our residents and staff. There will be no changes to the current procedures for visiting, which means that all visitors will still be required to undertake a 30 minute COVID test before visiting their loved one (with a negative test result), as well as the requirement that masks and PPE be worn at all times when in the building.
As of 31st December 2020, Worcestershire was moved to tier 3, which still allows us to accept visitors. In the event that the county is moved to a higher tier, we will of course inform all of our residents primary contacts as this will undoubtdly have an impact on visiting.
Our management team are fully informed with regard to the current legislation and government guidelines. If you have any queries regarding the vaccinations or visiting, please contact our management team, Natalie (Manager) or Alina (Deputy Manager) who will be pleased to assist.
