Our residents' comfort and well-being is at the core of Bryden House's principles.

One aspect of this is ensuring we provide enjoyable activities and occasional events for residents, family and friends.

Here's some of the regular events we have planned...

  • Mondays 10-12pm – The Craft Club
  • Wednesdays 10-12pm – The Film Club
  • Fridays 10-12pm – The Social Club (Games, Music, reminisce)


    With the uncertainty of COVID still hanging over us all, things have been scaled back but I am pleased to say that the following events have been planned so far for 2022 for our residents:

  • Thursday 12th May – Nurses Day – Help us Thank the Nurses today
  • Thursday 12th May – Liquorice Day - What is your favourite? Tasting session
  • Tuesday 17th May – Fun time 50`s and 60`singing LIVE!!!
  • Wednesday 18th May – 27th May – Platinum Jubilee Celebration planning
  • Monday 30th May – National Smile Day – Funny faces at craft club / joke time
  • 2nd – 5th June - Celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee
  • 2nd June – Trooping of the colour on the TV - tea and cake with flags in all rooms
  • 3rd June – Service of thanksgiving at St Pauls – TV and raise a glass and a sing song
  • 4th June – Platinum party at the palace – concert on TV – get your glad rags ready!
    Bryden’s care house tea party – 1-4pm
    Cupcakes, Games, Music, and laughter.
    Dress up if you want to, be ready to go back in the day – Outside Weather Permitting.
    Let us give our loved ones a day to remember!
  • 5th June – Time to remember at Bryden House and time for you to celebrate with families and street parties back at home
  • 6th June - Wildlife week
  • 6th June – Carers week
  • 17th June – Father’s Day preparations

  • Summer Service - Wednesday 3rd August 2022 with Rev. Nick Collison from The Methodist Church.
